Rules
NOTE:
The rules I will put into place are there for players to follow at all times to create and maintain Triple 9 Roleplay's authenticity and realism. Each player will have a slate of THREE strikes until they are banned.
Car Rules. All vehicles will have to be stock once you purchase your new vehicles. You have the ability to visually upgrade your vehicles, however it will cost you a fee at an in-character mechanic's. You can also upgrade your vehicles performance areas, however, you can only upgrade these if you are able to afford to. Strictly no Armor upgrade or Bulletproof Tires.
Note: Any players found using armor or bulletproof tires will be striked. Revenge Killing.Much similar to DM'ing, however, in this particular case, a player kills another player as an act for revenge on their character's death; again strictly prohibited as it is seen as Out of Character.
In-Character/Out-of-CharacterIn-Character and Out-of-Character are two methods of communication to distinguish a strong, realistic roleplaying scene. Please note that anything said Out-of-Character can be used In-Character unless stated otherwise. We also have a strict guidance of ensuring all players are In-Character throughout scenes in order to provide the best roleplaying environment.
Job Rules.Your character must work for atleast 6 in-game hours (12mins) per day in order to earn a wage for that day.
Some jobs will be limited in terms of income in order to keep the roleplaying environment competitive. Given players positions in their jobs, they have the ability to start projects (has to be related to their jobs) which will bring in extra income, there are limits below on what you can earn via projects for selected jobs. NOTE: THE TOTAL PAYMENT IS DIVIDED EQUALLY BETWEEN THE PLAYERS. // YOU CAN ONLY DO ONE PROJECT EVERY 5 SESSIONS. Accountant: - Franchise Advisors. - $8,000 - 2 sessions, 2 people. - VIP Financial Advisor. - $15,000 - 3 sessions, 2 people. - Auditing - $50,000 - 4 sessions, 2 people. Mechanic: - VIP Vehicle Project. - $9,000 - 2 sessions, 3 people. - Category Icon Project. - $24,000 - 4 sessions, 3 people - Rare Automotive Project.- $60,000 - 6 sessions, 6 people. Trucker: - Low-End Cargo Run - $6,000 - 1 session, 2 people. - Middle-End Cargo Run - $15,000 - 2 sessions, 2 people. - High-End Cargo Run - $30,000 - 3 sessions, 2 people. Construction Worker: - Public Construction Project - $5,000 - 1 session, 2 people. - VIP Construction Project - $20,000 - 2 session, 2 people. - High-Rise Development Project - $50,000 - 4 sessions, 2 people. |
Map Rules. When joining session, you will be asked to turn off your radar in order to prevent people from meta-gaming and automatically locating other players. Many players seem to do this and it is becoming quite damaging to the scenes within the roleplay. If you don't know where somebody is, call them and ask them, or ask someone if they know where they are. This can be easily contested so if caught cheating you will be instantly striked.
God-Modding.This is when players spawn in objects of some value which can give them an unfair advantage against other players. An example of this is spawning money, vehicles, properties and also weapons.
Example: One session, your character has $5,000 in his account, however with "clever" manipulation on your part, you've earned income without any source of income and purchased a 9F Cabrio. Warning: Do NOT try to god-mod, as this is punishable by ban, depending on the extent of the foul play by the guilty party. Vehicle Register Rules.Community Staff will ask you to register the vehicles you use via your character, IF it is viable to do so (enough money, financing accepted etc.). If you are found to be driving a PERSONAL VEHICLE that is not registered this will result in an instant strike. If you are found to be driving an NPC/TRAFFIC VEHICLE, authorities have the right to arrest you for driving this car.
Warning: Do NOT try to use personal vehicles that you have not been given permission to use, as this is punishable by ban. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Chat Rules. As requested by the community and staff, chat rules are to be tolerated at all times in order to complete an authentic roleplaying environment. Players, if in a group will be expected to enter a party in order to continue their conversations. If you are not in company within session, you are expected to remain in game-chat.
This is to keep the lobby's game-chat clear from disturbances for the Public Authorities to receive call-outs from one another and also for staff to make out-of-character announcements in order to help other roleplayers. Drive-by Rules.Drive-bys are entirely forbidden from the roleplay. This is due to its usage as a griefing tool against other roleplayers, and it disturbs both scenes and standard of roleplaying. The closest to a drive-by possible is to pull-up, exit your vehicle, shoot at the target (within reason), and then get back into your vehicle to exit the scene.
Car-jacking without permission.Car-jacking personal vehicles without permission is now strictly forbidden. Car-jacking is another griefing method used by players and it's unfair to take somebody's vehicle due to it simply being another player's.

Death-Matching.Killing other players without any reason to do so. This action is Out of Character, so it is strictly prohibited.
Meta-Gaming.This rule is a significant factor, regarding Roleplaying is it is frequently abused by players. This rule covers taking knowledge given or obtained by a player, Out of Character and using this knowledge of information to their advantage In Character. An example of this would be looking for someone on the map, instead of finding out In Character.
Fear Factor. This rule covers realism in order to ensure the Roleplaying environment remains intact with realism.
Example; within a Roleplaying situation, if you are held at gun-point, your character will act in a similar manner to real life, such as being cautious about what is said, instead of drawing a pistol at the player holding you at gun-point. This makes you value your character's life. If someone attempts to take out a firearm whilst at gun-point, the death will be permanent. This is the key rule in all of Roleplaying. Realism. Realism is a key component of the roleplay, as it keeps scenes for each other realistic and intact; realism is the use of such things like only being able to carry small firearms on your body. Here is what you can carry: - Pistols - Micro-SMG, Machine Pistol, Mini-SMG - Double-Barreled Shotgun (WHILST WEARING OVERCOAT) All other weapons will need to be in-sight if your character has them, or transported via your vehicle. If you crash your car, you must react how you would if you crashed your car; this is a rule only for a high-speed crash, or a high-impact crash. If this arises, players will need to stop their car, either await EMS or abandon their car and get treatment. Vehicles will only then be prepared by taking them to a mechanic within the roleplaying session. Staff Rules.Staff list:
Admins: - Tommy Acky - DisguisedRoots - CloudKid EDM Mods: - Grumpy Caspa - CBRsDJ2flyforu - MLR Reaper16 v2 Admin Rights: Ability to Strike or ban. Host sessions. register other players. Moderator Rights: Ability to Strike, register other players. Administrators are like the Community Board. They will take on board what the community wants from the moderators - (new rules, new additional roleplay material etc., bans revoked) and come to a conclusive decision with the aid of Moderators. Moderators are the representatives of the community. Moderators are expected to build an additional bridge between the community and Administrators and propose rules they believe should be reinforced. |
